Here you will find some favourite recipes submitted by Staff, Chefs and Customers.  Visit often as we will be adding new ones regularly.

Bone-in-Ham – The Tradition

 

Start with a Bone in Smoked ham.

Place on a rack in a roast pan

Add one bottle of beer to the bottom of the pan

Place in oven uncovered. Turn oven on to 350 F for 15 min per Lb.

Remove from oven

Let sit for 5 minutes

Slice and serve

 

Options

 

1 Have your butcher halve or quarter the ham if you have a smaller group.

   (Typically, you need approx. ¾ lb per person.)

2 Nitrate Free works best

3 To glaze, brush on Maple Syrup for the last ½ hour.

4 You can add or substitute Ginger Ale for the Beer.

5 Add fruit juice to the maple syrup for the glaze.
